True beauty starts from within. The energy you hold inside you, and in your auric field always manifests itself on the outside. Sometimes, we work so hard on the physical parts of ourselves that we forget to take care of our inner emotions and feelings. We beat ourselves up for all of our imperfections, and seem to only focus on what we hate about ourselves. Loving yourself is the most important factor in life. It affects everything from self confidence, to having healthy relationships, even being successful. It truly took me years to even "like" myself never mind "love"myself, but once I realized how much it affected my quality of life, I stared to look at it differently, and things slowly began to change.
I am a hairstylist, and own a salon called Spiritual Diva Hair Design. 
I am also a reiki practitioner. Working in an industry that is focused almost solely on outer beauty, and one that is focused solely on inner beauty. I got to see first hand just how your inner energy can effect every aspect of life. I see amazing, beautiful women who hate themselves every day! I also see women that are very confident and truly love themselves. If you compared the quality of life of these two kinds of women, It is like day and night. You see, when you love yourself, you vibrate at a higher level, therefore you will attract things into your life that match your energetic vibration. Good things in life like success, love, and inner peace vibrate at a higher rate. When you loathe yourself, always put yourself down, and lack confidence, you will always struggle to attain the things that come easily to a person that has self love, because you have a lower energetic vibration.
Due to past experiences and emotional trauma, we form blockages in our energy centers called Chakras. When our Chakras are blocked or out of balance it can cause us to vibrate at a lower level . This can cause us to feel insecure, depressed, anxious, and even angry. Believe it or not, this almost always manifests itself on the outside physically. Hair, Skin, and weight can all be affected by chakra blockages. I see this every day as well. In order to have outer beauty, we need to first shine from the inside.
Crystals and gemstones have been my passion for years . I am fascinated by each energetic makeup, and how they heal the human aura. I have found that certain crystals help with unblocking the chakras pertaining to self love, and confidence. Just having crystals in your aura raises your vibration to meet It's own. You feel better emotionally and physically for this reason. Below are some of my favorite crystals for self love, confidence and physical beauty.
MOONSTONE
is a stone for new beginnings, inner growth, and strength. It soothes emotional instability, and stabilizes emotions providing calmness. It enhances intuition, promotes inspiration, success, and good fortune in love and business matters. It aids in digestion, eliminates toxins, and fluid retention. Moonstone alleviates degenerative conditions of the skin, hair, and eyes. It balances hormones, and is great for PMS, fertility, conception, pregnancy, and childbirth. I find that when my hair clients have hair loss it is usually due to a hormonal imbalance. Due to the fact that moonstone balances hormones, I recommend putting a flat palm stone in your pillow case at night. Adding Aquamarine will work well also.
PINK TOURMALINE
Assists in restoring luster and shine to hair and nails, It increases collagen and helps to reduce wrinkles. Wearing or having Pink Tourmaline in your aura helps release stress, worries, depression and anxiety. It can be used with Black Tourmaline to diffuse obsessive behavior. It is an amazing crystal for cleansing your heart chakra of destructive thoughts and feelings, and guides us towards self love and compassion. Pink Tourmaline helps us to change old relationship patterns that no longer serve our best interest. It helps you to trust enough to open your heart again to someone new, and helps you recover your joy of life again.
AQUAMARINE
is a stone for courage and communication. This stone is an excellent tool for self-development. It assists in understanding the reasons for holding on to old thought patterns that no longer serve you. Aquamarine is also great for hydrating the skin, fluid retention, hair loss and acne. I find Aquamarine helpful for PMS related water retention. I always wear this stone during that time of the month paired with Moonstone for hormonal balance.
MOOKAITE JASPER
is a healing stone that gives strength and confidence. It shields from difficult situations and connects us to loved ones who have passed away. It brings us to the here and now, and helps to release the past and accept the future simultaneously. It helps us to accept change and to not be afraid of it. Mookaite Jasper also helps those who tend to procrastinate. Its energy keeps one focused and well-grounded while quieting distracting thoughts. It is great for focusing on a specific goal or for a motivational boost. Mookaite Jasper is known for boosting the immune system, and helping to counter the effects of aging. It helps you to emotionally accept the aging process as well.
